I have never given a speech before, so I needed all the extra help I could get. This book is a wealth of information, and on top of that, it's backed up by plenty of online resources, including a personalized study plan, interactive video exercises, and a speech outline program! The feature I liked the most: Vocabulary Activities (includes glossary, flash cards, and crossword puzzles.)

A must-have book.Informative and excellently written.Gives all the information you want on Public speaking.

My speech class required 2 books, "The Challenge of Efective Speaking" and a workbook. This book was awesome to find on Amazon so I could save money. I did have to buy the workbook through the bookstore because obviously, it needed to be new. Great find.

I purchased the book on dec 27 and it is january 27 and i didnt get my book and i had a test this site is totally unreliable they dont send you the book withing 20 days

I purchased the book on February 08 and my payment was cleared the following day. I received an email on the 9th from the seller that my book had been mailed. I waited a week before I contacted her to ask where the book was coming from. Her reply was short two words to be exact, New Jersey. The following week I started school and yet no book. On the second week of school I had an open book quiz. I had no book and therefore I decided to purchase a book from my school despite there "no refund policy". I was devastated and was very upset that my book was no here yet and now my grade was been jeopardize. I took the quiz and lost $97. Finally, 3 weeks of waiting the book arrived. What upset me the most was that the seller had mailed out my book on the 22nd, two weeks after i had purchased it? I received it on the 26th. It took only 4days to arrive after the mailing date.

Book was in great condition like promised and shipped in a timely fashion. Would do business with again! =)
