5.0 out of 5 stars THE book on Camaro, August 20, 2003
This review is from: Camaro! from Challenger to Champion, the Complete History (An Automobile quarterly marque history book) (Hardcover)
This is an Automotive Quarterly book, and anyone who knows AQ knows it's the most authoritative source on auto history and development. This book does not disappoint. You'll find after page of detailed anecdotes on the building of Camaro from GMs first panicked race to catch the Mustang through increasingly more stylish later generations, complete with 600+ pictures, many from inside GM, of design ideas, built and cast aside. What's more, Gary Witzenburg's prose is fast reading and objective, and filled with insightful quotes from Camaroistas that were there. Great book on "Chevy's fast friend." And if you didn't know that one meaning of Camaro is friend in French, read this book!
