Since 1990, on a biennial basis, the world's most important international broadcasters have gathered together in Canada to explore the evolving and ever-changing world of international broadcasting. Volume V in the series, again, documents the vitality, innovativeness and also the difficulties/challenges facing the international broadcasting community. Over 40 countries and broadcasters from five continents have a voice in this volume, and they represent major broadcasters such as RCI, BBC, and VOA. The volume also includes a full list of the participants/organizations, and an extensive index The fifth volume in the ongoing series of Challenges for International Broadcasting Papers and Proceedings, all but one, previously published by Mosaic Press
