Hi, I'm African American and for some reason I've fallen in love with the hindi move. I've seen so many I can't keep count but there are some that I just have to buy and this is one of them. I'm sure, because I'm reading the subtitles, I'm missing a lot but hey I don't understand Hindi but I'm picking up some words here and there. But this film is a wonderful as it tells the story of two people who basically aruge you so much you think "Why did they get married" But in the end you see a great love story of two people who can't live with out each other. It tells are story of how pride can get the best of you sometimes and you start do things you shouldn't. I usually borrow the films from the local library before I buy them but I haven't been disappointed yet!!! Great Film!!!

I am an American Born Indian, who really didn't like Hindi movies until I saw this film, while doing a medical service trip in Calcutta, India; when the movie came out. On that trip I bought this CD and played it so much, that the CD doesn't work anymore and I have to buy a new one (trust me I played it multiple-multiple times a day). If you like Hindi films and understand Hindi, you will definitely like most of the songs for their meanings, as others have told me, and their melodies. If you don't know Hindi and/or aren't a big fan of Hindi films, I am sure you will like this cd, minus that song on DISCO which I personally dislike, and you might become a fan of bollywood after all. But with that said, see the movie!

Chalte Chalte has an amazing soundtrack, and each and every song is great. Especially loving the music and lyrics! YEAH YEAHHHH 8-) thaz wassup!
