First of all, almost all of the even numbered pages in the book are blank. A few have one or two lines of carry over from the previous page, very few. So while the book posts as a 100 pages, you are only getting about 50. For the price of this book, it is a rip. I really think AMAZON should check these things more closely so as not to mislead the buyer into thinking he is getting far more than in reality. Secondly, the content of the book is NOT the true Congo Chamalongo divination. Mr. Montenegro has apparently mixed together Congo, Yoruban, and his own personal interpretations as from a variety of shell divination systems. I could not recommend this book to anyone, as it is very misleading and very incorrect!

There are different ways to read Chamalongos. Those people who have trashed the good work of Montenegro are evidently too small minded to understand this. No matter how you work with chamalongos, use them without pure, natural understanding and get lost in the forest of your twisted arrogance and confusion. Use chamalongos by whatever system works for you with Exu with a simple clean heart and find out what you have to find out. There are many paths. Montenegro has many interesting things to relate.
