This remote is NOT for the newest Chamberlain openers (since 2005). If your current remotes have Security plus and the white/light grey buttons this is the correct remote.

If they have the black/dark grey buttons this is the wrong one. You need the 953D.

I ordered this remote for a 3rd vehicle and was encouraged to read other reviews saying the set up was easy; and it was. -- Hit a button on the door opener motor, hit the button on the door opener remote and voila!

Wonderful experience! The garage door opener remote control was shipped in a timely manner and works perfectly.

I have the garage door opener with the "orange" learn button and the remote control programmed easily following the enclosed directions.

Searching - ordering - paying - receiving was very straight forward and pleasant.

I bought this as a second remote for an existing door opener. It took about 2 minutes to "synchronize" with the opener. Very simple process. It has been used regularly for about a month, and so far no problems. The worst part will be opening the remote to get the battery replaced...they did not make it very easy to pry open without marring the "case."

I needed another remote for my five-year-old Chamberlain Security+ garage door opener. The 953CB was a snap to program and works great.

I had tried a universal remote before this Chamberlain and it was terrible.

With this Chamberlain remote, I can actually keep the remote in my car as I approach the garage door. The distance still isn't "awesome" as I have to have my bumper about 4-7 feet from the garage door. But it's way better than the universal which I had to put out the car window and click to get the garage door to open.

I gave it 4 as opposed to 5 stars simply because the distance isn't amazing (it's just good) but I should mention I'm in the inner city and there are power lines overhead so it way work better for you!

It came on time and it worked perfectly. No problems at all. I would suggest buying from this person to anyone interested in this product.

I ordered two of these controls. Battery was dead on one control, once replaced both controls worked right out of the package. Shipping took a little long, for the price, they could have shipped it ups or fedex.

Direct replacement. It took a couple minutes to set up two of these so my kids could have access.

I bought two of these to control the two Chamberlain garage door openers in my garage. They were easy to program using the instructions on the openers and each control will operate both doors individualy.
