I needed a garage door opener that was easier to carry and use while I rode my motorcycle. I was tired of removing my car's opener every time I needed it, and climbing off and back on the bike to operate our keypad was a pain in the you-know-what.

For a very low price, I found this small, lightweight remote that I can carry on my key chain. It was very simple to program with our Craftsmen door opener. (red/orange button models only!) The range is pretty good, too. I stop my bike out on the road to open the door, before riding up the incline of my driveway and never have an issue with the signal. Compared to paying the price of a name brand, full size remote, this is an amazing bargain.

My OEM Sears unit died- I think the motherboard got cracked, so I thought I would get a small keychain remote instead. This unit works better than the original control. Only thing that would be nice is a colored button for the main button. Works as advertised. I am purchasing another soon to replace the wife's controller, but will get the Liftmaster two button console unit instead so it is larger/easier to push the right button. Make sure you get the right model.

Ordered this item. I purposely checked to make sure that it works with the liftmaster model 2265 AND I made sure that my opener has the orange/red learn button, but I tried programming on my two openers and it does not work at all. I am so annoyed that I wasted $20!!!!!

I purchased the Chamberlain 970LM 390MHz Mini Remote.
The remote didn't work on the two different garage door openers that I had. So I wanted to return and found out I had to pay a re-stocking fee. I have never paid for a re-stocking fee in my life!! Will never order from this distributer again.

I know it's a simple device, but I like the size of it and it fits perfectly in the door handle of my car. Super simple to program the motor to except the remotes frequency. Just make sure that you push a different button if you have a second motor to program close by other wise you'll open both doors at the same time...unless that's what you want. :)

Ordered this to replace a broken visor opener for a 1998 Liftmaster garage door. Instructions were very clear and it literally only took seconds to program. Because he liked mine so much, I just ordered another for my husband. Be sure you have the orange learn light on door unit before ordering this model!

Very effective garage door remote that totally works with any key chain. I use one for my motorcycle and got one for my son's motorcycle also. Amazon sold this for nearly $10 less than Home Depot and others so how can you go wrong.

Works very well. It does what it is supposed to do. Bought for my husband for Christmas so he wouldn't have to transfer his main clicker between vehicles. Only problem is when he "pocket dials" the garage door when he forgets to hang up his keys when he gets home.

I have the garage door that this remote was advertised for (don't remember the model number) on the web page. I ordered it, got it, set it up per the (dowloaded) manual. No muss, no fuss. Recommend seller.

This is a good product and works as advertised, but is not compatible with multiple Sears Craftsman remotes. It will work well with the opener itself, but if you bought it as a second remote to work with one of your original sears remotes, it will not work. It's one or the other. You cannot program both to work with the same opener. We have two cars with two users and needed two remotes. I had to go to sears to get an exact match to the original remote so that we could have two at the same time.

If you only need one, this is a great product.
