To get my motorcycle tire from 20 psi to 35 psi took at least a minute.

Purchased this at the big box home improvement store, started to install it the same day, but had to go back the next day to get bulbs, the "overhead task lighting" bulbs are not included.

The retractable cord and work light work great, and prove very handy. The one issue that annoys me is the air chuck -- the gauge is neither precise (5PSI increments) nor accurate (always reads high), can't be trusted for filling tires to a specific PSI.

I have no outlet on the ceiling so I mounted mine on the front wall and the hose reaches all tires of both cars. As others have said, this unit is a bit heavy to hold up while driving the screws to hold it, bit I am sure it was easier for me against a wall than in the overhead. The ease of checking and filling tires outweighs any shortcomings. Oh, the gauge is worthless, way off and not marked enough. Plan on using a tire gauge.

I was excited to install this after reading the reviews and I knew it would get good use in my garage. Installation wasn't simple, but not terribly difficult. Unit was a bit much to muscle up to the ceiling, but I managed.

Got it installed and it looked great. Pulled out the cord to it's full extension and heard a bang about 3/4ths of the way out. Went to put it back in and it would only retract 1/2 way. The spring on the unit must have broken or came loose on the first pull. With that happening so soon I am questioning it's overall durability. I'll see what Chamberlain has to say about it, but I suspect it will be going back.

Tried pumping up my car tires and I wasn't sure if it was working either. There is a gauge on the opposite side of the LED lamp, but I'm unclear what that is showing you. It's clearly not the time pressure.

Great concept, but needs a lot of work.

My wife bought this as a Christmas present and was very excited to give it to me. Now she's angry with me because I have to take it back. For the price, it's an expensive trouble light. The compressor gauge does not work properly (based on a the majority of reviews seen on the Home Depot website) and it has a tire chuck with a note attached indicating the compressor should not be used above 100 PSI. However the tiny guage supplied goes up to 180 PSI so if you intend to use this to fill tires accurately, you're out of luck - hence the expensive trouble light comment. Seems like a well built product and the concept is great but I'm not going to let my wife pay that kind of money for a product that has a major design flaw - even if costs me a night on the couch.

No one makes anything like this. Works good. Just a few draw backs, Doesn't come with bulbs and the spring clips, (at first glance) that hold the bulbs are very brittle. The bulbs I got are led and larger than a standard bulb. Trying to get them in I broke the clips. The bulbs are not held by the sockets. Made my own holders. The recoil system works good. Light is good. Only 2 lag bolts hold it up but seem sufficient.

I am happy with my purchase and I got it on sale for $100. Let me start out by saying that my expectations were not as high as others. I was in the market for a retractable led drop light and an AC air pump when I stumbled onto this. At regular price I did not see the value in it but on sale it was perfect.

Installation was not difficult for me as I used tie down straps from my garage door opener mounts to my attic ladder to assist in holding the unit as I screwed it. In the pictures you will see that I added 4x4 posts between rafters to mount the Power Station where I wanted it. I also got longer lag screws so that I could put bolts on the end of them. I don’t like the idea of pulling the Power Stations cord for the years to come and wondering if the screws will let go.

Convenience is what this unit provides. As I work on the cars, bike, and clean my garage, all I have to do is reach up for three main tools that I use. It has never been easier to keep my tires at correct pressure also. It was very cumbersome to plug the air pump into cigarette lighter and turn the car on just to air up my tires. It’s also is faster than my DC air pump.

Not all is great with the Power Station. The gauge is worthless but in its defense none of the other three pumps I own have accurate gauge. The light could be bigger. I don’t know what they were thinking about the air chuck design. It may be the only way the auto on air pump works properly. It is easy enough to hold the chuck there seeing how it airs tires fast. I did not even buy the spot lights because I have enough lights in my garage.

In looking at all the positives and negatives I would buy this all over again.

Like others have posted the bulbs are not included and the air gauge reads high. I bought two 50 watt flood Phillips bulbs but they don't put out enough useable light. The LED light is not very bright either. The air compressor does a good job and I like the clamp for the valve stem but if you are working with smaller bike tires or motorcycle tires it can be a pain since it is straight and not at a 90 degree angle. Installation was easy but it required my wife's assistance to hold it while I screwed the bolts in.
I got it as a present and like it enough to keep it but if I bought it myself for $129 + $10 for bulbs I would be upset. It should cost about half that IMO.
