I initially ordered this kit thinking it was all I needed to repair my garage door opener. I ordered after initially removing the cover and saw all the plastic gear 'teeth' stripped. It was only AFTER ordering, then fully disassembling the unit did I discover that I also needed the Gear set (41C4220A) which included all the plastic gears in this kit. So I think the price is great for this, and it certainly can fix the plastic gear portion of these openers. Just be sure thats all you need before ordering. The complete gear set (with bearing, etc.) which I ultimately needed, isn't that much more costly. The seller is prompt and parts were recieved promptly. A great bargin if the plastic gears are all you need! Beats replacing the entire opener!

The Sears Craftsman LiftMaster Chamberlain Garage Door Opener Gear Kit arrived in a timely manner. The plastic gear in my old opener had become excessively worn and did not work any longer. The instructions that came with the Kit are pretty straight forward. I was able to remove the old gear, etc and install the replacement parts in about an hour. The parts included in the kit are a direct replacement and are installed without any modification. My Sears Craftsman Opener now works like new. This kit is well worth the $18 and one hour it took to install.

There's not really a whole lot to say. The parts kit was as advertised. Everything pictured was there and there was a short instruction pamphlet and an exploded diagram. I only needed 2 of the gears, so I replaced those and applied the included grease. The lift works great now. I would only point out that anyone doing this themselves need to note very carefully which wire got disconnected from where. I did not have a problem but I can see where one could arise. Also, the exploded diagram was, probably the more helpful of the included paperwork.

The item was shipped really fast and arrive in perfect condition! I replaced all the parts in under 45 minutes. The product worked so well, made my garage door motor even more quiet than before and the customer service was so great that I will be ordering another set for my other garage door.

Item was exactly as advertised, but I will use the pre-assembled main gear, sprocket and shaft in the future. The less expensive, component version is too big a hassle.

The kit came complete with every thing to do the repair which was a simple job.
Recommend completely. Saving big dollars.

Have used this product several times to fix Openers at my rental houses. Great product with loads of parts for many types of openers.

I was so glad to find out I didn't have to replace my whole garage door opener when my main gear was striped. The instructions where decent and there were plenty of extras in the kit. The garage door works.perfect now!

This is a good product to fix a garage door opener. Most failures are due to gear failures and gears are much cheaper than a new opener.

I HAVE REPLACED TWO SETS OF THESE GEARS IN TWO DIFFERENT OPENERS, IT TAKES SOME TIME BUT ALOT CHEAPER THAN A NEW OPENER
