An amazing story of triumph over tragedy...,
By Aimee Thor "Aimee Thor" (Xenia, Ohio) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Chameleon (Hardcover)
Dorothy's story is sad and horrific in parts. The abuse that she suffered at the hands of family members. The language is shocking and at times vulgar but based on the facts of Dorothy's extremely hard life. She is a true heroine to have overcome such insurmountable odds. The story flows and in spite of limited education, Dorothy shares the details of her life in a humble and confident way. A truly fascinating biography that you won't be able to put down.
