Merrell J87749 Men? s Chameleon3 Ventilator Grey and Tan Hiking Boots have a mid-height silhouette. They feature durable suede leather and mesh uppers. The bellowed tongue was designed to keep out pebbles and other debris while you? re trekking up a mountain.The GORE-TEX linings protect your feet and keep them dry. The lining is treated with AEGIS Antimicrobial solution to keep odor at bay by actually rupturing the cell walls of odor-causing microbes. The AEGIS solution bonds to the surface of the lining and cannot diffuse or migrate, so it can last for the life of the lining. The Ortholite Anatomical footbeds keep your feet stable while surrounding them in snug comfort. Hiking terrain is demanding, so it? s especially important to keep your feet correctly aligned to reduce foot, leg and back pain. The external heel and instep stability arm give even more support to your foot.Midsoles have In-Board compression-molded EVA foot frames with Grade 4 Nylon insoles. They? re engineered for backpacking with a light pack. Insoles add structural integrity and rigidity while cushioning your foot as it strikes the ground. The Merrell Air Cushion midsole is only found in Merrell products and protect your feet from excessive shock while walking.
