I do a lot of road biking. In the warmer months, I'll do between 45 and 65 miles three times a week. I apply this product to the inside of my riding shorts (not on my skin) and I've never had a chafing problem since I've been using it.

I tried it just directly on the chamois and it worked GREAT ! I've used Chamois Buttr for years which is excellent too. However, depending on how much you apply it can have a bit more "cling" to your skin until you put log some miles on your ride. Maybe I'm applying it too liberally to ensure protection, since many of my rides are 50+ miles. It really protects you as well...but I believe I'm now going to switch to the Chamois Glide. Application is a snap.
