4.0 out of 5 stars Good product with a little tweaking
Nice build. I found the targets to not operate smoothly right out of the box. The burs left from rough manufacturing would cause the targets to bind. After smoothing rough edges as other reviewers have recommended, it works great. Just move target back and forth in tree and you will see the contact points. 1.0 out of 5 stars Targets don't move
I bought this to use for .22 rifle target practice at a local outdoor gun range. The 22. caliber target tree seems to be heavy-duty and very sturdy. The problem is that five of the six targets won't move. I'm guessing that there must be a quality issue with the manufacturing.

I bought this to use for .22 rifle target practice at a local outdoor gun range. The 22. caliber target tree seems to be heavy-duty and very sturdy. The problem is that five of the six targets won't move. I'm guessing that there must be a quality issue with the manufacturing.

I will be calling the Champion Targets Onalaska Operations technical services on Monday (800-635-7656) to see if there is an easy repair that I can make. If not, I will be using Amazon's return policy for a product credit. The packaging says, "Return ... postage paid for evaluation ... include a check in the amount of $10 ... for return shipping and handling" I don't think so! If a product doesn't work out of the box then I'm not paying the manufacturer to repair it.

I'll update the review if there is an easy fix. Otherwise, I guess I will keep ordering and returning to Amazon until I get a target that works as advertised.

***Contacted customer support. They didn't have a quick/easy fix, so I am returning the product. I will reorder and see if the problem is system or isolated to the item I received.

This looked great. When this came the box looked like a return sent BACK .. that was then out to me ! the box was busted..the item looked like someone had put it together scratched up!
easy to put together..but the targets will not flip from side to side.. the slots they slide into are cut deep they just fall to the bottom( nothing to hold under then up so they will flip )... the target slides too deep in the holder...

I took a coat hanger & duck tape.. to get them to work !!...
I will enjoy this
but something is wrong with way this item is made.. ( 1 star )

Nice build. I found the targets to not operate smoothly right out of the box. The burs left from rough manufacturing would cause the targets to bind. After smoothing rough edges as other reviewers have recommended, it works great. Just move target back and forth in tree and you will see the contact points. Used a metal file to round contact point on targets and soften hard edges on the holders. Took me about 15-20mins. Drilled holes in legs and secured in ground with tent stakes. Didn't know if that was necessary, but it definitely was secure with stakes.

I also had a new DoItAll target set with me and it failed on first outing. Lost a roll pin making one of the targets nonfunctional. Not sure that was the best design considering the impact during use.

Happy with this Champion product.
