I finally had to replace my Russell capris, and since I couldn't find them any more, I chose these. I like them okay, they're a little shorter, but they're as close as I've found. They're true to size, an XL=16 ish.
These are VERY comfortable, a good fit (comfy but not hugely baggy), they don't cling, and they are a good length (I'm 5'4" and they are more like cropped pants), but they flare out at the bottom hem which makes them look a tiny bit strange. I have thin legs from some childhood muscle atrophy (nothing severe, but something I'm a little self-conscious about) and these pants are a bit *too* flowy around the hem. It almost makes me feel like I am wearing capri-bell bottoms, which isn't the look I'm going for.
I'll definitely wear these for around-the-house wear and quick-run-to-the-store wear, but not for "interacting with people" wear.
For the price range i find these capris to be very soft, durable and comfortable, my only dislike is that they don't have pockets! I actually have 2 pairs and haven't experienced any problems with the length, draw string, or contours on either pair! There great for everyday errand running!
Capri pants do not have a side seam. This makes them fit differently. One leg is short than the other. Washed in cold water before I tried on because they stunk so badly, and I believe they shrunk. I am not impressed by the quality. I would return them, but since I washed them, I won't be.
I have the grey ones. Love the way they feel, love the length (usually wear jeans, but it is too hot out now), love the wash-ability, love how they flatter my legs. Can you get the gist that I love these pants? lol
UPDATE: Realized that I didn't get into any detail as to WHY I love these capris, and what kind of review is THAT?.. First, the draw-string waistband does not roll uncomfortably like some draw-string pants. This waistband lies flat and smooth, and is easy to adjust. Second, the fabric is lovely-soft. I've washed these about 15 times, and so far, no "pilling" (which I hate). I like the weight of the fabric too - not flimsy-cheepo-thin, and not thick and bulky either - Just a nice soft, mid-weight knit I suppose is one way to describe it. One reviewer stated hers flared at the bottom hem, but mine don't - they fit smoothly all the way down. I'm going to buy more in the different colors.
