I appreciate the hexagonal ends that keep the weights from sneaking away from me when I put them down. I also like the fact that I don't have to worry about vinyl or neoprene coating peeling on the handles and making the weights uncomfortable to use. My hands are a bit sensitive to the texture on the ergo grip, so I use gloves to protect them. These weights will never win any beauty contests, but they serve their purpose and they're durable, and that's all I ask. Good product, good price.

These dumbells are great. You get what you see, great weights at about half the price of a department/sporting goods stores, trust me I checked everywhere. I will be getting the rest of my dumbell needs here. Thanks!

I originally ordered just one of these, but turned around a week later to order another so my son had a pair. My husband and son are pleased with them.

I prefer this type of dumbbell over the vinyl coated ones for heavier weights (20 pounds and above). They feel more secure to me and less likely to slip out of my hands. The knurled (etched) handle on these is very comfortable; to me, almost perfect.

As others have mentioned, the listing is for a single dumbbell. You have to order two to get a set.

I ordered this, thinking that it was a set of 20lb dumb bells. There is almost no mention of the fact that this is only for a single dumb bell, except for the one sentence that says "Sold as individual only". Why would I assume that this meant you only get one dumb bell, seeing as the picture in the ad shows TWO dumb bells? Even the product description leads you to think you're getting two, like when it refers to "These weights..." and "The handles...", with the letter "s" at the end indicting more then one.

Kind of disappointed.
