So versatile.,
This review is from: Champion Blue Disposable Underpads (Chux), Large Size 23 x 36, Pk/25 (Health and Beauty)
Chux are so useful. Soft and lightly padded on one side and waterproof on the other. I first used it as a piddle pad for my young puppy. Then, I used it as a disposable changing pad for my baby. Now, I use it under my hamster's cage to protect my desk for the moisture that sometimes spills from the water bottle and whatever else. It to protect the sheets for children who wet their beds or for bedridden adults who must wear diapers. They come in all sizes for whatever your needs.
_______________ UPDATE: This listing is for the 25 pack, but it can also be bought on Amazon by the case. I find that option less expensive in the long run.

I bought this particular version of chux based on the other amazon reviews and I'm glad I did. These don't disappoint. I like this particular size. I use these to line the bottom of my parrot's cage (odd, I know). But I've used other variations and they just couldn't hold up. The cotton is evenly distributed and has the plastic blue border that holds up well. The speed of delivery was lightening fast and I think the price was very fair. Happy with purchase!

Good sized absorbant pads that came in hand during and after the home birth. Baby used them afterwards as she liked to turn on the fountain after the diaper came off.

These pads are rather thin.....so if you need a large amount of liquid holding ability, maybe they would be ineffective....but for my purposes they work great. I use them for under the front of the litter box....to keep accidents from getting on the carpet (she has bad aim!!) and they absorb and hold the liquid just fine and they are inexpensive so I can change them out without my pocketbook cringing!

I just received this product. I use underpads for my mother, who is bedbound and incontinent. They seem rough and very thin. Probably won't be ordering these in the future.

These pads would not absorb a teaspoon of ANYTHING wet, it would seep right in and fall apart. I used them as extra protection on top of my sheets while working...they are thin and ALL the white padding you see in the pic certainly is NOT in the ones they ship. The inside padding is so thin and sparse you can see the blue plastic through the "cotton" center. I guess you do get what you pay for...I can still use them but I will NEVER order these again...I guess they are so cheap and you get free shipping because they know the people who buy them will be so ticked off once they receive them. I guess they are trying to empty the inventory. I will NEVER but these things again.

Supposedly holds 40 oz liquid - unfortunately, not so. Saturates easily and leaks right through the plastic. I've used puppy weewee pads that work better.

These are great-huge, super cheap and good for many purposes. I use them as a liner for under the cat's litter box (to catch spilled litter and "misses"). Other uses could be for house-breaking dogs, disposable diaper changing pads, etc.

Cheap, absorbent, waterproof underpads. At roughly 2' x 3', this underpad is plenty large enough for almost any use I can think of. Polypropylene backing assures no seep-through. My use is as an underpad when I administer myself an enema, or sometimes when I have to self-catheterize. I'm not sure if the absorbant capacity is really 30 oz, but if it isn't, it's pretty close. To the people that wrote negative reviews: I challenge you to find a more absorbent disposable underpad at a comparable price. I will definitely be buying a case (150) next time.

I bought these pads and the "Dynarex Disposable Underpad, 23 inches X 36 inches, 50 Count (Pack of 3)." I found the Dynarex brand to be much more superior for my use, which is to cover a baby changing station pad. I'd rather throw these out than wash the material of the baby changing station every time there is an oops. I had 2 problems with the Champion Blue pads that I didn't run into with the Dynarex. First, I would often get pads with clumped up cotton batting. Second, my baby would kick the pad and the top would easily dislodge from the cotton filling. This doesn't sound so bad but he would get his toes caught in it and often make a hole in the pad top. I was afraid he would slice his skin open because the ripped strands of material seemed strong but thin. When I gave him baths, I would find strands of it between his toes. I can't tell you much about the absorbency maximum because the baby didn't make that big of messes. It worked fine if the accident was on a spot that had cotton and not on an empty spot from which the material had moved. I have not had that problem with the Dynarex so far. Oh, and sometimes, if it was a lite sprinkle the liquid didn't sink into the pad insides if it was not disturbed because it would get caught in the mesh top material. Both brands contorted fine when laid on a curved surface but I thought the Dynarex was better for keeping it's shape when the baby kicked, though both end up in a clump under him when he really gets into a kicking fit. At the time I bought the pads, the Dynarex was cheaper per pad.
