i brought two of these to the burning man festival in black rock desert this year. suffice to say that's about as aggressive a test as you can give a generator.
they performed about as well as you could hope. pros: - low cost - no major mechanical problems cons: - MAKE SURE NOT TO USE THE OFF SWITCH. you can only turn these off by turning off the fuel line and essentially forcing it to turn itself off by running dry. if you use the off switch, it will flood the generator and you won't be able to use it for 12 hours. - one of them started leaking fuel about 6 days in. i suspect this may have been from inadvertently flooding the generator by using the off switch. - you only get about four hours worth of runtime on these if they're running at full capacity (700-800W or so).

Started right on. Used 5 times and that was the end of it. Its pretty much a disposable unit. Warranty does not cover anything and customer service would say anything to get you off the phone and have you pay to service it. The carb its extremely sensitive and fragile. Like the saying goes; you get what you paid for. Pros: cheap and portable. Cons: everything else
