5.0 out of 5 stars Solid, quiet juicer
The Champion is a great juicer, especially with the optional greens/wheatgrass attachment.

The Champion excels at banana ice cream soft serve, juicing carrots, apples, ginger, watermellon.
Yes, celery fibers will require frequent cleaning.
The machine is built like a tank, and will last forever.

1.0 out of 5 stars a complete waste of money
It is a worthless juicer despite its high price. The key problems are:
* warm juice! It is neither delicious nor nutritious
* even though it has the pulp ejection feature, but, with high fiber vegitables, like celery, you still need to clean in the middle!
* too heavy and bulk, hard to lift and store away
* NO return! The manufacturer does not...

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid, quiet juicer, August 11, 2011
This review is from: Champion Juicer G5-PG710 G5-PG720-ALMOND Commerical Heavy Duty Juicer

The downside is the weight of the machine, and the necessity to use the optional greens/wheatgrass attachment if you want to get the most from wheatgrass and greens.
Making nut butter will generate a lot of heat, so freeze the parts and chill the nuts to start with a lower temperature.
You can get a juice press (for $400) that will squeeze out the remaining juice from the pulp. Also, the juice has some pulp left in it. If you want, you can run this thru a nut bag.

The alternatives are the Norwalk $2,300 or Twin Gear ($500). I find the Champion to be the best juicer for the money. If you have Cancer and can afford it, get the Norwalk, otherwise the Champion with the optional greens/wheatgrass attachment is good enough. Skip the centrifigal juicers, such as Acme or Jack LaLanne, as these do a poor job on greens.

Wehave now had it for more than a year and we just love juicing. Cleaning up is a bit of an hassle - but for the healthy drink - it is worth the extra 5 minutes.
