a wonderful tale,

This is a fine example of what made Suzanne Barclay one of my favorite medieval authors. The characters are real and their problems touch the heart. She had a style that was uniquely hers. I'm going to miss her greatly, but if you get a chance then snap up her books and see for yourself what a wonderful writer she was. I just wish she were still here to gift us with more pearls from her pen.
