While trying to tone up for football season I tried many, many protien delivery systems for my pre and post workout, muscle feeding. This product was the last one I tried.

The taste of the three flavors available is excellent. It delivers a substantial protein blast along with a modest calorie input. The chocolate and vanilla flavors mix very well and very easily with a shaker cup. The strawberry seems to always have some clumps. Makes an excellent smoothie type drink when used in a blender with ice. At the end of my workout I get a couple of ice cubes and 12oz of water, one envelop of mix and shake my shake cup as I walk to the car. I drive away enjoying the shake. The chocolate in particular hits the spot, for me.

The mixes come in regular, lite and low carb. There is not a lot of difference in the amount of calories/protien between the three and virtually no taste difference. I use the low carb because I'm diabetic. I give my football players the regular. I had no muscle related injuries either in the weight room or on the field the entire season.

My only issue is I wish it came in a high calorie form (600-800) as it would help bulk some of the guys up.

The first Ultramet I bought was the Low Carb which is good, tastes different from others protein shakes but after two or three times you used to like it. Well then I bought the Ultramet lite, which is a protein combination of whey and casein and this was not said on the description of the product. The taste is good and you feel you are plenty after drink this protein but you have to shake it very very very well because it doesn not dissolve easily, so must of the times the protein could be at the bottom of the shaker!!

La primera proteina q compre de esta marca fue la Low Carb, la cual es buena, su sabor es diferente a las otras proteinas pero luego de tomarla dos o trea veces te accost umbra al sabor. Luego compre la Ultramet Lite, q es una combination entre whey y casein( esto no lo decia en la descripcion del producto). El sabor es bueno y te sientes lleno luego de haberlo tomado, pero lo unico es q tienes q batir muy pero muy pero muy bien porq no es una proteina facil de disolver, muchas veces se pudiera quedar toda pastosa en el fondo del shaker ;((

I have tried a decent numbler of protein shakes, and this one is by far the best. I can mix it with pretty much anything you can make a vanilla milkshake with and it tastes awesome. Many of the other protein shakes I have had either don't mix well or taste horrible. This shake can and does both of these things beautifully!

These are by far the best low carb shakes I've had - and I've tried many over the years. Mix with 1 cup ice and 1 cup water in the blender. I also add a shot of cream for a little extra creaminess. Nice, frothy and rich tasting with no diet aftertaste at all. Backed with protein and nutritionally fortified. These 60 pack boxes are much cheaper than the smaller ones from any website. Only tried chocolate so far.

This shake tastes good for a protein shake - however it unfortunately has dairy in it. I recently became lactose-intolerant, but even prior to that avoided dairy when on a strict diet regime. I prefer Muscle Milk as it is dairy-free.

This stuff is great. Mixes easy and to me I liked the taste with just water. When the product says it will get you to your next meal with out cheating it means it! (Well you still have to have your own will power) I will continue to use this product while I push towards my fitness goals. Great buy all the way around!!
