Winch is strong and quick but will not hold a load. I bought this to use on my shrimp boat to lift my skimmer frames in and out the water. It lifts fine but will not hold them up. If you are looking for a winch to hold a load this winch is not for you.

I have this unit on a Gravely four wheel tractor and it is a life saver. I use the unit to climb a fairly steep incline with a load of 700lbs or so in addition to the weight of the tractor and trailer. I recommend following instructions when pulling, a few times I used the winch at an angle and the wire became twisted between the drum and sidewall. Its a real pain to free. Other than that it works great.

The winch has a lot of pulling power but the brakes won't hold. When you stop it the line will spool off if under a load. I don't recommend this item at all. Great price but not so great since it doesn't work properly.

This is a decent winch, and it worked well on my Polaris. Obviously the more well known brands are going to be better, but cost twice as much. This is a good unit for the price you pay. I used this to move very large trees, concrete from old posts, and for the snow plow on my 4-wheeler. It does the job well, but I suggest using a short cable for the snow plow. 50 feet of cable is asking for trouble when only using a few inches for a plow. The only problem I have with it is the up/down control is HUGE! There is really no good way to mount the controller. If you are handy with wiring and relays, build a thumb rocker. ;)

Used this little winch to pull out small tree stumps. Pulled some directly out, others I had to do some digging and cutting roots but sure made the job easier. Realized a wireless remote would be better but this one does the job.

This winch will not hold a plow up. That is what I bought it for (2011 Polaris Ranger) and it did not work from
the 1st. time I used it. It is no Good.

ATV power winch looks to be just what we wanted. Haven't tried it out yet, been too cold! Quick ship, arrived in plenty of time for Christmas!
