These are great for target shooting.

They will hold a standard clay pigeon available from Wal-Mart or larger sporting good stores.

The Target Holders are ok but the steel rods are way too short in my opinion.

I bought two packs of these to practice shooting with a shotgun (with birdshot.) They will hold a standard clay pigeon available from Wal-Mart or larger sporting good stores. I've shot all six dozens of times from ranges 10-30 meters. The plastic target holding "V" are definitely showing the wear and tear of this abuse but seem to be holding in. The stand/post is short, it either has to be on a berm or you will be shooting at the ground. The target holder occasionally gets blown off the stand. If you were going to use these for air rifle or rimfire targets it would be close to perfect. I think a centerfire rifle or pistol round would destroy the holder if you missed. For shotgun you could get better but it would it would require a good deal more money.

The product discreption was that there was 3 holders (not one) in the package. Amazon sent another package out but the same problem. There was only one holder in the package.

I'm a skeet shooter, but I recently got into pistols a little bit. I had plenty of clay targets at home because I buy them by the case when the local shop has them on sale. I use them out at the family farm for field-shooting when I can't get out to the club to shoot on the actual stations. I wanted some targets for shooting my Ruger 22/45 and since I already had the clay targets, looked for something to hold them. Enter this product. These things are great. They're really sturdy and as long as you don't shoot the bracket or the rod, they'll last a while. My only gripe is that I wish the rod were longer. I'm probably going to just put some PVC in the ground and zip tie the rods to the PVC that way I can get these up off the ground a little. At the very least, it'll give me a couple different heights to shoot at.

These things are cheap. I ordered two sets but will definitely buy more so I can set up multiple targets for two shooters.

The Champion Clays are very expensive. You're better off buying standard clay targets by the case (I get them locally for about $9 per case of 135, I think). If you want the smaller size, you'll pay the premium that Champion asks, but if you just want the one size, get the case of generics.

For the money this holder is a nice addition to your target array. It rewards a precision rifle shot, if you hit the holder with a larger caliber round its toast. Just a fun cheap alternative to paper targets.

I purchased these to have static targets when we bring out my clay target thrower. We only used them for a few shots(12 gauge target loads) they do the trick but will not last too long.

I could have easily gone 5 stars based on the price. These were well worth what I paid for them .. which wasn't much. The plastic clay holder won't take too many hits in the same place from center fire rifle or pistol. I've hit mine with 9mm rounds and the holders need a little work if I hit the same general area multiple times (you have to rework teh plastic groove that holds the targets).

Holds a standard 4" clay target just fine. The metal rods are short as another reviewer mentioned. I'd think pistol or rifle rounds would be a ricochet hazard if you didn't raise them up a bit. A trip to Lowes and a little imagination can take care of that. The range I shoot at has berms so it's a non issue.

I have target holders taht are a lot more forgiving about being shot with rifle or pistol ammunition .. but I paid a lot more for them. I like these for the price. If you're planning on using these with a rifle with a bit of punch to it ... I'd order at least two sets. I'm guessing these wouldn't handle too many center fire rifle hits .. but I could be wrong. Good value for 6 bucks!

We read the reviews on this product and, some said that the clay target holders came one to a pack and others said it was three. We needed 6 target holders and since we were unsure how much we would truly get we just ordered 6. Well the package came and they are 3 to a pack and now we have 18!

Good value for your money. The only downside is that we wish the rods/poles were a little longer for our purposes. It'll be okay though, otherwise these are great.

These are very nice - and I'm glad I doubled my initial purpose because I shot off one side of the target holder on my first go-round with these. Definitely fun to have the reactive targets when plinking with a .22. If you are a better aim than me, you'll get a good deal of life out of these. But honestly, for the price, you can't really go too wrong here.
