I bought the book and enjoyed it very much. I also bought the audio CD and thought it a very accurate interpertation of the book. I travel some and the audio version is very helpful while traveling as so with other books. Another reviewer commented on how the book was boring. I did not find it so. I thought it had a lot of very valuable information on nutrution and exercise. It was presented in the form of personal testimonies from everyday people who were experiencing the Body for Life program. Michelle Lee did an excellent job of presenting the information. Her voice was pleasing to listen to and she presented it in a manner that kept my interest. Technical books, which this is one, are more difficult to present in an audio version than fiction is. The continuity was good and I felt the purchase price was well worth it.

I did my first body for life 12 week challenge last year and had great success with the program. I was extremely excited to learn that a new version of the book was out. Because of time constraints on my train ride to work every day, I decided I would buy the cd instead. I load all the tracks on my mp3 player and now I listen to it for motivation on the train ride to the gym. I listen to it on the treadmill to reach my tens, then that soft gentle encouraging voice reminds me why I do this over and again each and every day. I'm impressed with the information, the delivery,the powerful suggestions.Its fun to learn how the champions remain champions. I hope one day to join them in the winners circle. The voice used, should narrate some of Oprah's big book club picks!

The original Body for Life is an awesome book. This is simply a re-write of the original. However this book has many typos and just a cheap copy of the first book. The origianl book authored by Bill Phillips is 100Xs better. Don't waste your time or money on this!
