This book helped me understand the basic strategy behind Omaha, and was very useful in improving my play. One notable feature is it covers all forms of Omaha - High/Low 8 or better, High only, and pot-limit. Reading about the different variations inspired me to try Omaha High only instead of my usual game [Omaha High/Low 8 or better], and it turned out to be fun and a nice change of pace. The co-authors are both world champions and it shows in their advice and suggestions.

This book is perfect for the experienced poker players who want to refine their skills. Not recommended for beginners.
Take it from multiple-pro-tournament winners T.J. Cloutier and Tom McEvoy: Starting hand selection and flop reading are the two most important skills to develop for becoming a good Omaha and Omaha Hi-Lo Eight-or-Better player. They give you lots of example hands and flops, and explain what to avoid ("danglers") and what to seek out ("Acey-deucey"). A little jargony, but the detailed information as well as Cloutier's hilarious old-school stories make up for that. It really helped me understand the various incarnations of Omaha and gave me a fighting chance against my buddies on poker night!

Very good starting hand coverage and how to play afterward. The problem with the book is it's not very orginized. Lots of examples and why plays were made.
It's a good book for your poker library but should not be the ONLY book.
