I'm editing this review, originally posted in 2006, to reflect the situation in 2011- apparently, the book has gone back into print and thusly, no longer sells for "premium book" prices (it was upwards of $100 there for a while)
It does come recommended at this price point. It's a good book.

I have read almost all the stud poker books. This is the most insightful and the easiest to understand. I read and re-read this book and I win at stud.

IF you play stud and don't have this book you are at a severe disadvantaged. This book is not the be all end all but it has a lot of hidden gems that will make you a consistent winner. Stud is a game that can be very profitable because of bad play and poor discipline of others. If you follow the theory of "3 babies in the hole 80%" theory you will have the majority of people beat that continue too far on subsequent streets. Good luck to all.
