5.0 out of 5 stars Sexy disco tunes
I first heard "Save our Soul" (track 7) whiledining... in Nice, France, and made a point to ask for the artist's name. I made sure that I bought Champs Elysees before I left France, and I haven't stopped playing it since. It's perfect background disco for social gatherings, but you can't keep from turning up a few of the tracks and dancing around your living...

3.0 out of 5 stars Bob Sinclar.... A living legend....
I remember buying the my first Bob Sinclar cd "Paradise". I was more or less totally overwhelmed by his talent for mixing and compiling so many different tracks together on one cd. "Champs Elysées" continues to show Sinclar's talent for making groovy and cool House music. The cd is musically quite varied. My all time favourites on this cd is track no. 2 "I feel for...

I made sure that I bought Champs Elysees before I left France, and I haven't stopped playing it since. It's perfect background disco for social gatherings, but you can't keep from turning up a few of the tracks and dancing around your living room! Sexy beat that will have you groovin', no doubt. All of the tracks are great - you'll play it over and over. Favorites are 1, 2, 5, 7, 9.

2 "I feel for you" which is so inspired by the Disco sound together with the Housebeat, no. 6 "Life" which is a classic Soultrack, No. 9 "Ich Rocke" which is a very groovy, track no. 11 "Darlin'" another soultrack and finally track no. 12 "My only love" which is very cool deep Soulhouse with deep vocaling. I would recommen this cd to anyone who likes partyorientated House. I have been looking for Sinclar's "Paradise" to review, but without any luck. "Paradise" is far more varied and consists of mainly deep house club tracks. Buy it if you run into it!!

5.0 out of 5 stars You won't regret buying it, January 22, 2001

What can I say - from start to finish - pure class. The CD is full of tunes you will want to listen to again and again, from the mellow tunes you'll want to play after returning from a heavy night out to the ones that will get you wanting to go on that night in the begining - well worth buying.

Bob Sinclair knows his......! Let his funky rhythms make you dance the night away! This is the ultimate partystarter, with the funkiest tracks being # 1,5,10 and 11. This music gets you in that funky party mood! No doubt...

Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Champs Elysees (Audio CD)
I have been aware of this album for many years, and It's always been on the fringes of my possible purchases. Basically, because I have several of the vinyl singles from the original releases. IN order to buy 'duplicate' music (and, yes, some new songs too), I was waiting for the right price or just a particularly reminiscent mood one day. I ended up finding a well-priced used copy on Amazon, which works perfectly, and I am very happy with the album. Fun, funky, disco-influenced house music from what I would consider Sinclar's best era.
