The only reason this is getting two stars is because I LOVE, love, love the scent. I have a tendency to like the less 'feminine' scents, and this is a nice fresh clean one. Problem is that no one has ever commented on it, I never smell it on myself, and I think it's not because it's disliked, I think it's because the scent wears off almost instantly. [...]. SO not worth it. I think I could bathe in the stuff and not have the scent last. Waste of hard-earned money.
Update May 2010: So I've started using a little more (like 3 to 4 sprays instead of 1 or 2), and voila!, several complimentary comments have come my way. I still love the fragrance and still think it's way overpriced for its staying power, but the fact that it's different from anything else I've tried ('masculine' is a term I have heard bandied about in reviews) is making me stick with it. I wouldn't go so far as to call it masculine, especially after it's had a while to assimilate, but it's definitely, absolutely unique.

I got this for Christmas last year..and my husband wanted to know what to get me this year..and I told him I only wanted one thing and that was Chance by Channel. This fragrance is so wonderful and smells so great I always get compliments every time I wear it. It makes me feel classy, confident and attractive. When we go out and greet our friends with a hug they always say I love that fragrance you are wearing! It's subtle and not overpowering. You can't smell it a mile away like some cheap perfumes. It smells expensive but isn't so expensive that you can't afford it. It's my favorite..and my husband's too.

I received this fragrance from my fiance, and wore it on my wedding day. It is strong but not overpowering, smells fresh and clean. To me it smells floral with citrus undertones. The only caveat is that you only need ONE pump of the bottle to get enough perfume to smell good all day, so don't overdo it! This is a lovely fragrance, and now reminds me of my wedding day.
