I was on another site that had a link to this one. I laughed when I saw the 'original' price of this at $1200.00+. First of all this product, on the Chanel site, is $80.00 WITH a box. Secondly, it is the 'Chanel No. 5 Parfum les Grands Extraits' (which is the highest concentration), that sells for $1700.00 for 7.5 oz, NOT the Eau de Parfum (which I have, bought directly from Chanel). Do yourselves a favor...if you are going to buy Chanel, go to the Chanel website. At least you will be paying the right price for a timeless perfume AND not be subject to the myriads of knock-offs (and jacked-up prices) that are out there. Let the buyer beware. BTW, a Google on Chanel knockoffs might surprise you.

This is truly a timeless scent. I have loved it since I first remember my grandmother making it her signature fragrance. However, it is really not a floral I have been told. Instead it is labeled an "aldehyde fragrance" - not really duplicating anything in nature, but a scent in a class by itself until other aldehydes came into the picture. No wonder this was Marilyn Monroe's favorite perfume.

Old Lady!!
I love Chanel Chance but this is awful.. There is nothing great about this fragrance. It reminds me of something my grandmother or an older lady would wear.
