Really like the look of this thermometer. I like to be able to adjust the temperature so that it reads accurately. At first the temperature reading was inaccurate because of movement in shipping. Had to contact Chaney's customer service and they were very helpful.

This is lovely to look at...for about 4 months. It has never been accurate and water gets inside the face. Nice for inside but definately NOT an outdoor thermometer. Waste of money. And I believe I paid full price...

I bought this thermometer for a wall in my computer room. I like the looks; I like the size. The item was accurate right out of the box. Consequently, the preparatory adjustment instructions were unnecessary in my case. However, if it does need doing it is quite a simple task.

I am glad that my intention was for indoor use only as this product doesn't seem to be that much of a heavyweight to last very long in the great outdoors--the rain, the wind, plus ice and snow--I wouldn't chance it.

If you have a nice indoor spot for this beauty I very much doubt that you'll regret your purchase.

I liked the look of it and from other reviews learned that it can be adjusted, so decided to buy despite the scary 1 star review. I am quite happy with it, after about a month, as far as I checked the reading is ok (matches other thermometers), there was no need to adjust it. I hanged it in-house on the wall in the library, as far as possible from wood burning stove :), looks nice and is functional. Highly recommended.

This thing is TERRIBLE! It looks nice, but is not very accurate, prob because of the copper. They ought to start over on this one! THIS SUCKS!

This was the perfect thermometer for our lower level great room with a rustic log cabin look -- it has a Victorian, H.G. Wells Time Machine gauge look. It is very attractive, accurate and easy to read.
Great buy for the money!
