Contains a lot of different & interesting info than I've found in other related materials. For me it was difficult to get past the beginning layer of the book with all the historical info & name references. Then again history has never been one of my fav subjects. Impatiently wanted to get the the heart of the matter, the GOOD STUFF!

I learned quite a bit of fascinating info once I dove further in. Also there is an abundance of practical alternative healing methods/ideas that takes hand analysis to a deeper level. This book would be a great read for anyone that works with "hands on" healing methods, Massage, Reiki, etc. Two of my fingers ached, interestingly enough it gave info on what they correlated to within the body. By applying good old self-accupressure to them, surprised me when they honestly did relieve related symptoms I was experiencing. Glad I purchased.

I've tried learning Palmistry before. Several authors. Didn't take. Then I picked up "Change at Hand" and scanned it. I was impressed. I started reading (and applying).

All of a sudden I was half-way through the book, and already I learned the chakra, planetary, and Element correspondences with the palm. I don't know if this was "just the right time" for me, but I know that Sandra Kines' work here enabled me to grasp a subject (for me anyways) heretofore confusing.

Get it, if you are at all interested! She does a great job, and explained it for me, a Palmistry newbie!

The first half of the book (Kindle-location-wise) is about hands in a cultural, historical, energy-esotericism and Elemental correspondence viewpoint. She also covers hand shapes, dominant quadrants, and planetary correspondences.

The second half of the book is about the zones of the palm and fingers, and also the major and minor palm lines.

Again: Simple. Direct. Explanatory. Referenced. Effective.

5 stars. Enjoy!

Quite a nice way to connect different philosophies. Most of the Palmistry work is elementary; mudras/chakras - EXCELLENT. Tips for balancing energy are included!

I thought this book would be a lot more about mudras... However, it is a lot more about palmistry. The mudras are kind of accessories in this book, like cream in a coffee. I guess I will have to learn about palmistry now that I have the book.

However, I do not want to discredit the book all the way. It is not a Mickey Mouse book. There is some serious work in there and it well done in general. I respect there author and I don't feel ripped off. The few mudras that pepper the book are good and I clearly can feel the energy move through my fingers. For a long time, I thought mudras were almost like some New Age baloney. I was unaware that finger configurations could move the energy in other parts of the body. But now, there is now doubt about it... I feel the energy in my fingers big time and I do my favorite mudras under the table when we have some meetings at work or if I am on the bus. Some mudras are very discreet. I am looking to learm more about Mudras. If you have a few titles to suggest please fee free to send me your suggestions.
