Editorial Reviews

From the Back Cover

"The Change Management Toolkit is not consultant hype or obscure management theory. It is a practical guide for a working manager to use in making real change happen in the organization. The techniques presented in the Toolkit have helped me in both reengineering-type projects and in the successful completion of a major ERP initiative when we installed SAP at our company." (Garry Manitzas Project Manager PG&E Gas Transmission)

5.0 out of 5 stars This book is a complete, practical guide to effective change, September 6, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: The Change Management Toolkit (Spiral-bound)
I have used "The Change Management Toolkit" to effect change in both a reegineering context and in project managing a significant ERP initiative at a major energy company. I have several business associates who have also used "The Change Management Toolkit."

The one characteristic that all of us think distinguishes this book is its usefulness. Whether you are focusing on reengineering concepts or simply trying to understand how to put together a good communication plan for a project, this book has practical guides to follow.

The writing style is very simple and clean. The focus is not on management theory, but on how to recognize and do the various tasks that must be accomplished in effective change management. The book is also well organized by subject content which makes it easy to locate the topics in which you have interest.

Whether you are an experienced change manager or someone who is completely new to the discipline, "The Change Management Toolkit" is a book you need to add to your library. The experienced change manager can benefit from the range of experiences of the authors. New change managers can benefit substantially from not having to begin with a clean sheet of paper every time they tackle a new project. Everyone who uses this book can appreciate the practical, no nonsense way in which it is written.

5.0 out of 5 stars Outstanding resource, January 8, 2002

This review is from: The Change Management Toolkit (Spiral-bound)
The Change Management Toolkit is an outstanding resource. In fact, at the Florida Department of Revenue is using the high level Design the Process model for the validation model for our Child Support Enforcement Program data information management model.
The Toolkit has also been invaluable in assisting the major reengineering of our business processes as we evolve towards an even higher performing organization.

Unfortunately, this toolkit was not what I was looking for. Our team needed more in-depth information and statistics.
