I have been a fan of the Starlight Mints for about five years now. They release an album about every three years, and each one continues to top the last. After a few listens, I found myself obsessed with listening to Change Remains. Each song is so well put together and detailed. They are not about solos, but about carefully orchestrated song structures and unique sounds. There are no rules as to what instruments to use. Fuzz bass is used more prominently on this album. "Sesame" uses a great disco vibe and infectious bass line. There are two instrumentals songs that sound like movie score. I wished those were longer. This album is pure fun!
