5.0 out of 5 stars Intelligent, funny and practical!, December 10, 2000
By
This review is from: Ten Tips for Women Who Want to Change the World Without Losing their Friends, Shirts, or Minds (Paperback)
Prober's "Ten Tips" speaks to me personally and in a way that most authors don't, for she speaks to my inner goddess...and I didn't even know I had one!! That's how great this book is. Prober's writing is intelligent, funny and most surprising of all: practical, which is an unusual combination. This book gave me a sense of not being alone. I could see myself in the pages and was surprised to find that someone knows my secrets! The "characters" in the book are hilarious, and in their own way, make the difficult job of confronting our inner demons an easier task. Honestly, I found myself laughing out loud while reading this book - and can't wait to get to work on changing myself and the world!
