I found "You Can Change the World" at a homeschool convention, and our family loves it! This is the first book we read when we start our homeschooling day and we follow by praying for the people we read about that day. My children now have a new understanding of people in other countires, and they are much more thankful for what they have. This book has made a huge difference in our home and I highly recommend it.

I used this book with my oldest two boys who both became born again when they were four. I have started to read this to my daughter who is now four. She wanted to read about three people groups tonight. When we read how important it is for others to be saved, she may begin to realize that it is important for her too. Praise God!

This book is now on permanent display on our dinner table along with our globe. We sit down at family dinner, pick a page in the book, find that area on the globe, talk about the story (we paraphrase, since we have a 4 and 6 yr old.) and then pray for that area. It has been an amazing tool to open our minds to other situations in other parts f the world and how we can more specifically pray for them. It is teaching our children to appreciate what they have and to empathize with children from other places. The stories are easy to understand and they are crafted to peak your child's interest and, in some situations, break your heart for the needs of the children of that country. We knew we had made a great decision in buying the book when out 4 year old told his teacher that he knew exactly where Bangladesh was and why we need to pray for protection for the families' homes there from floods. He likes feeling the ridges of the Himalayan mountains near Bangladesh and it is easy for him to find on the globe. So cool!

Arrived in excellent condition in a timely manner.
Last vendor I bought this from took months and it arrived damaged.
