Roku N1100 HD Media Player (Old Model)
Used & New from: $149.00
Change the account on my Roku 2 XD Got a used Roku 2 XD from Amazon (cheap) - all works well - however, it is still linked to the previous account owner. I confirm the player info by going to the "Settings" "about" menu. How can I change that?
I have 2 other Roku 2 players in other rooms of my home - those other Roku 2 players are linked properly to my Roku account - they work great.
Do I need a new "link code" from this used Roku 2 XD player? If yes, how do I get that.
appreciate the help

Press reset button on Roku unit with paper clip, hold for 30 seconds, immediately upon release of reset button disconnect power from back of Roku unit. Restore power in 1 minute. Removes all accounts associated with unit. Restoring to factory defaults with remote did not work. After reset, you will probably have to pair your remote with the Roku unit by taking off battery cover and while standing close to Roku unit, hold green button until remote flashes to signal pairing. You will have to register or sign in with existing account and go thru set up. During set up, after choosing internet connection, Roku will give you code to register the unit on line -- this is different from Roku account set up. (Information from on line chat with Roku)
