First Sue Foley Album For Me,
By
This review is from: Change (Dig) (Audio CD)
Sometimes impulse buys work out. My thanks to the Amazon reviewer. It's hard for me to believe that this is an unrehearsed, 1st take, live performance. Sue and her band must know one another inside and out. They're unplugged but on fire as they plow their way through the set. Sue is sassy and sexy and definitely in charge of the room. The song "Sugar In My Bowl" nearly melted the fillings in my teeth. LOL Now if I could get somebody who's reading this review to tell me which Sue Foley album to pick up next.

Satisfying!,

This is my first Sue Foley album. I ran across it at a bookstore that allows you to listen to samples from the tracks.Unfortunately, that store makes it such a pain to actually buy a CD that I ended up being forced to wait a few days to receive it in the mail from Amazon. Well worth the wait. I'm a big fan of live CDs, I always feel like you get a better feel for the energy and excitement that makes an artist gain a folloowing and this CD proves that out. Very satisfying live performance blues.

Another Great One from Sue Foley,

I'm lucky to own a few Sue Foley CD's but this one is already working it's way to the top of my collection. Love Comin' Down is probably still my favorite, but the energy and passion I've heard in the tracks on Change might make me reconsider. So far, Doggie Treats and Sugar in My Bowl are my favorites. This CD is a must own for Sue's fans and a great introduction to those just discovering her work.

I have all of Sue's albums. The first one I heard that hooked me was Love Coming Down. My clear cut favorite is Back To The Blues. This new one is great and is probably already 2nd favorite. It is very impressive for a live album, the sound is fantastic. I am a fan of her guitar work and this album has it, although not enough. Her voice has a brat quality and is as sexy as ever.

Sorry Sue. I loved "Used Car" but this one leaves a bit to be desired. Will look for more of your latest music. She has a wonderful voice and all the music on the Used Car cd are good.

Best Female Bottle Slide Blues Player,
This review is from: Change (Dig) (Audio CD)
You cant go wrong with Sue Folley if you like bottle neck slide blues. She picks great songs and then kicks'em out. Her voice takes a bit of getting use to but man can she play guitar. I have not heard a weak CD from her yet. She's a very pretty and sexy woman. If you get a chance to see her play out its worth a long drive or an expensive ticket

Sue Foley,
This review is from: Change (Dig) (Audio CD)
I really liked Sue's old style, raspy blues style on this album. It is the first one I have heard from her but she is up there with the greats: Bonnie Raitt, Etta James, with a little Emmylou Harris mixed in.
