I have loooooved the voice of this man since the mid-80's when he first hit the music scene and blew us ALL away! Tony if you see this posting .....please keep doing what you're doing ...please don't let anyone or anything stop you from the blessing that GOD has for you! Customers on Amazon.com ...do buy this one ...it is an uplifting and inspirational album that is full of traditional numbers as well as some new school tunes!I must say, Tony did a BEAUTIFUL job on his re-make of the Hawkins Family's oldie-but-goodie --> " Changed "!!! Be sure to add this one {album} to your gospel and Tony Terry collection :-)

Thank the Lord!!,

I red the previous review. I too was a fan of Mr. Terry's from "back in the day". Loved his style, loved his voice. (Okay, so he's cute too. Sue me.)I'd missed his voice over the years and had wondered what he was doing with himself and his talent. And, over the years, I started, and am still on, a journey coming closer to my Lord and savior - and surprise, surprise!! I found out Mr. Terry apparently has been doing the same thing. It is just so cool and so uplifting when artists realize that truly, their gift is from God, and that they need to not only thank Him for it, but praise Him with it. And I am so glad to see that Mr. Terry is doing just that - with some seriously jamming tunes!! Nobody said praise had to be boring. Thank you, Mr. Terry, and God bless. Keep on doin' what you're doin'. You have a lot of old fans that are glad to see you back, and you'll gain a lot of new fans I'm sure. And you might just mess around and convert some of your old fans to New Creatures. (hallelujah!!)

Voice still great, music a little outdated,

Okay, I have to preface this by saying that I may be a little critical of the music on here because I listen to a lot of very contemporary artists like J. Moss, KiKi Sheard, etc., as a result, I have mixed emotions about this CD. First of all, I really like Tony Terry's voice, always have, always will. His 80s/90s stuff we're all familiar with really showcased his voice and he is still phenomenal in that respect. I think he did an excellent job with "Changed," "If You're Gonna Worry, Don't Pray," and "Completely Yours." That said, I have to agree with the respondent who said the music is a bit outdated. It really is, if seems as if they are using old keyboard synthesizer type music. On my Sony stereo "Completely Yours" sounds great, but that is a good song period. I think the gift is stll there, he just needs producers with a more modern vision. I think that you can do traditional, but on the songs that are supposed to be more contemporary, they should sound contemporary, not 15 to 20 years old.Still love you though Tony! God Bless!

"New Jack Swing" singer gives gospel a try...with pretty good results,

In a week or two preceding the Christmas holiday, I had the pleasure of seeing Terry in concert at an annual gathering held in my small Georgia town. Though the singer, best known for the 90's hit "With You," only performed a four-song set, it was enough of a reminder to those of us in attendance how gifted an interpreter of song is he.2006's "Changed" is a collection of heartfelt testimony to the singer's convictions of faith. His sincerity and spirituality comes through in each of the seventeen tracks on the disc. Though he occasionally over-emotes on some of the songs, overall, he manages to effectively expresses the lyrics and the melody as a professional of his caliber and experience can. The production values are exceptional, as Terry is supported by a super band and skilled back-up singers. Recommended tracks: the title cut "Joy," sampling from an Eddie Kendricks hit "Look to the Hills" "Yours Completely" "Jesus to Hold" the traditional "Nobody Like Jesus" and a re-funked version of the classic "How I Got Over" "Praise Him" - remix "First in My Life" "Come Child" Running time: 1.3 hours

I'm a HUGE fan of this artist and bought the CD after reading about his transition to gospel. It has taken some getting used to, but I'm a fan of gospel. I wish that it was getting more airpaly and attention.

As a lover of Christian music this music is a little behind the times. It has an out dated feel. Not worth the money for sure!
