When I turned the last page of Changeling Moon I was so happy that it's the first book in the series because I was desperate to know more about these characters. Anyone that knows me knows I love a good shifter romance read and that is just what Changeling Moon is.

Zoe has spent most of her adult life running from her paranormal past. She feels she has finally found a safe place for herself in a small Canadian town. This was all before Zoe was attacked and bitten by a wolf. Not just any wolf--a changeling after human blood. Thankfully for Zoe, Connor (the local vet) rescues her just as she is starting to lose the battle with the wolf. It doesn't hurt that Conner is also a changeling. Of course Zoe doesn't know that.

Zoe and Conner were so much fun to read about. I would catch myself smiling as I read their relationship grow. Conner was so high strung over Zoe that he could hardly get physical with her due to lack of control over his wolf. He would try to make a move on her then have to literally run off. And there was Zoe, frustrated and not understanding what was wrong with him. It was really quite funny.

Each author brings their own rules for their shifter world, or in this case changeling world. Harper does a wonderful job of opening Changeling Moon up and adding some unexpected twists that are all her own and I'm sure they will serve this series well. I am excited to see what will happen next in this changeling world.

This book was fantastic! The plot was well planned out and I was pleasantly surprised with Dani Harper's ability to keep me on my toes! As a preferred paranormal reader I am very critical about a character's supernatural abilities being plausible and Dani never skipped a beat in covering all the bases in this unique world. I will be anxiously awaiting my pre-ordered copy of Changeling Dream! Thank you for finally offering me another book series to look forward to.

What an awesome book. I love a girl who isn't a damsel in distress but still knows when she needs someone to help her. Zoey is feisty and brave and was a lot of fun to read.
I loved Connor, he was so full of passion and always there to help. The ending on his farm broke my heart! He was really too good to be true at times.
And together these two are amazing. I really loved their relationship. Together I think they are a perfect balance. I really felt their connection and was enthralled by them every step of the way.

This book was action packed and also brought on the heat.The story took off from page one and didn't stop until the end. The wolves are more magical I think.. The only thing that bugs me is their clothes stay intact and come back after the change. (I am weird and have that in my head that isn't possible. Anyways enough on that.)

Dani really pulls you into this story so deeply. I loved the town the people in it especially the other wolves. (Oh excuse me I mean Changelings.lol) I can't wait to read more!!

It's late night, the locks on your car are frozen with ice, and there's an animal attacking you. What do you do next? And what about that knight in shining armour? The one with the sensitive heart and the warm hands? And that wolf...

This was a well-written fun read. It captures all the things that I like about shapeshifter romance - the hot, strong, sensitive man with a pack of loving family and neighbors as supporting cast. And, it manages to avoid most of the distateful tropes of other shapeshifter stories - no dominance (love, protection, but not dominance. The heroine has a bit of the 'escaping her past' storyline, but she's not weepy about it and there's few, if any, of the icky (at least to me) angsty "if they would only talk to each other" moments. My main complaint is that while the villains are villainous enough, they are not as well-written - rather 2-dimensional compared to others.

Definitely fun. Definitely worth reading. And, from my point of view, defintely worth owning your own copy as it "feel-good" ness will send you back to it for re-reading. I'm going to one-click the next one Changeling Dream now and keep my eye on the rest of the series.

In Changeling Moon, after being viciously attacked by a wolf, newspaper editor Zoey Tyler's life changes drastically. Not only does Zoey find herself attracted to her rescuer, local veterinarian Connor Macleod, but now werewolf rumors are starting to spread. Zoey is unknowingly in danger, and Connor feels compelled to protect her at all costs, or face loosing Zoey when the full moon rises.

Werewolf and paranormal romance fans, Changeling Moon is a compelling new read that should not be missed. Author Dani Harper weaves a captivating story about ordinary people with extraordinary abilities. The setting is a small town in Canada, a close-knit community and plenty of open space. The reader is able to uncover the hidden secrets of this small town, along with Zoey, who has hidden secrets and abilities herself.

The characters are interesting and easy to relate to. Connor is the handsome, protective man, and Zoey is an independent, smart woman. Their chemistry and romance is sweet and believable. While they have instant attraction, it is not necessarily instant love.

The structure of this werewolf pack was done very well. It is nice to see a female alpha for a change. Also, Dani Harper does a great job of blending werewolf mythology, magic, psychic abilities, and science in Changeling Moon. Using the term Changelings for the werewolves was different, and quite agreeable.

There were not very many issues or problems in Changeling Moon. It is a promising start to a series, and laid groundwork for future storylines. Overall, Changeling Moon is a good read, and fans of paranormal romance, and werewolf stories will enjoy this novel. *I rated this 3.5 of 5 stars*
