This review is from: Changeling (Kindle Edition)
This is the story of Trey. He lives in a group home because his folks are dead. After waking up feeling like he'd been hit by a train he discovers his room has been trashed. But the odd thing is the damage is all done from the inside and Trey locked the door the night before, the key is still in the lock. On the very same day he'll have his first visitor. Luicien says he's Trey's uncle, but Trey never new about this "family member". He'll soon discover his new uncle is a vampire and Trey is a werewolf. Luicien made a promise to his dead father to look out for Trey when the change came. He steals Trey away from the group home and takes him home to begin the job of teaching Trey how to control his inner wolf. However, another vampire in town has a different plan for Trey and soon he's fighting for his life and those of his new family.
This book is great, a very very very mild romance with Alexa, but more on the action and tension building side. Too many of the werewolf books out are some teen love story. This book didn't read like a teen novel either, it's great for all ages. |
