Book Description

This is a work of Upper YA/New Adult fantasy romance.

When Ianthe began her career as a faery godmother, she stumbled so badly that Snow White will probably never speak to her again. After a long suspension, she's finally been given a chance to redeem herself...but everything on this latest assignment is going wrong.

But why?

Worse, she definitely doesn't need an attractive mortal man distracting her from her duties. Of course, needs and wants are two different things.

Briak has had his eye on Ianthe for a very, very long time, but he's been waiting for just the right moment to make his move. Despite the fact all hell's about to break loose on his watch, he can't resist the opportunity to insert himself into her earthly assignment. Can he convince Ianthe of her true calling and thereby win her heart? Or will his subterfuge ultimately cost him her love?

5.0 out of 5 stars A Magical Romantic Fantasy August 18, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
Changeling's Crown was a really enjoyable and unique new adult read! It's a fairytale romance for adults, complete with a fairytale godmother. I really liked the plot with this one. If you're looking for a light romance, this is it! If you were the girl that always dreamed of one day meeting her Prince Charming, you'll really enjoy this read.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cute short story June 17, 2014
By Lexie1
Format:Kindle Edition
I was provided this book by LoP in exchange for an honest review.

This was a cute story about faery godmothers, in particular on named Ianthe. She has good intentions; they just always seem to go amiss. She has one last chance to help a human couple before the Faery Godmother Board strips her of everything. Biak is the Dark Faery King who is captivated by Ianthe and wants her for his bride. However, he knows that she will be somewhat difficult to win over, since he his considered "dark." This sums up the entire plot-boy sees girl, boy likes girl, boy realizes girl is something special, and boy tries to catch girl. Cute story, I read it in about an hour and it won't take all of your brain power. POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT******I'm not sure if the author meant for Ianthe's heritage to be a secret or not, but anyone who has read books involving the fae will immediately know her heritage. It is right in the title*******END SPOILER ALERT.
While this was a short book Revezzo did a good job with her characters. I wanted to smack Geldon, he was such a prig. I enjoyed the scene with Ianthe on the poor possessed horse-that was a tribute to Revezzo's imagination. I'm not sure why Ianthe's parents never shared her history with her, but I guess it was because she wanted to be a faery godmother. I'm really not sure what else to say about the book, because it was short and the plot basic.

If you're looking for a cute book to read at the beach or something light then this is an excellent choice. I look forward to watching Revezzo as she continues to write.

4.0 out of 5 stars Faery Godmothers and Dark Fae Kings June 30, 2014
Format:Kindle Edition
When I first saw Changeling's Crown, it looked like a light, fun Romance, and I'm glad to say it didn't disappoint. Ianthe is a disgraced Faery Godmother trying to reclaim her wand while Briak is the Dark Faery King who's in love with her. Together they make an endlessly enjoyable pair to read about.

Ianthe is an extremely likeable protagonist. She's not perfect, makes mistakes, and I caught myself laughing out loud at her blunders a number of times. And Briak... Instead of a knight in shining armor, the author has given us a legitimately bad guy. He hates the good fae, enjoys destruction and the occasional murder. LOVED him.

Revezzo's writing flows beautifully. The world she's built is engaging and imaginative. I would recommend for those who enjoy romantic tales with a touch of faery dust.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review in the "Lovers of Paranormal" Group on Goodreads.

4.0 out of 5 stars It doesn’t seem she is very good at it November 24, 2014

Independent Reviewer for Paranormal Romance and Authors that Rock

I give it 4.5 fangs.

Changeling’s Crown by Juli D. Revezzo is a stand-alone book. I would suggest this book for adults, but could be read by young adults.

Isanthe is a fairy god-mother in training. Or is at least trying to be. It doesn’t seem she is very good at it. Her spells don’t always work and she sometimes has thoughts that just aren’t right for a fairy god-mother.

Briak is the Dark Fairy King. He is everything you would expect from a dark fairy. But he loves Isanthe. He must convince her that she is not meant to be a fairy god-mother, but should be his queen.

Without giving away any spoilers, if you like magic with romance, then you will like this book. I do hope Juli writes more books like this one.

I received this story in exchange for an honest review (Lovers of Paranormal or LOP)

This was a very endearing story, but I might be a bit bias. Nothing I love more then a Bad boy on a mission. lol

I really like the world setting in the story, my only wish is at some point I would have loved to learn more about Ianthe past. She seemed to accept what she was so easily, I would not have been so accepting. Then again if I had a Dark Fae king after me maybe I would.

To those familiar with Fae lore- there are no surprises with this book, but don't let that discourage you this was a very nice story. I wish it had been fleshed out a little more, but I still really enjoyed myself.
