At least he's honest about it..., May 24, 2006
This review is from: The Changing of the Guard: Biblical Principles for Political Action (Biblical Blueprint Series) (Paperback)
Excerpt: " But it is dominion we are after. Not just a voice. It is dominion we are after. Not just influence. It is dominion we are after. Not just equal time. It is dominion we are after. World conquest. That's what Christ has commissioned us to accomplish. We must win the world with the power of the Gospel. And we must never settle for anything less... Thus, Christian politics has as its primary intent the conquest of the land -- of men, families, institutions, bureaucracies, courts, and governments for the Kingdom of Christ." The only way I'd recommend this book is if you're doing research on how crazy some people can be.

A good starting point, September 14, 2000
This review is from: The Changing of the Guard: Biblical Principles for Political Action (Biblical Blueprint Series) (Paperback)
Grant lays out a good basic introduction to why Christians should be involved in the public policy process. Those who are long-time activists already familiar with why they are involved might look elsewhere, but for those wanting an introduction to the basic principles will find everything they need here. This could also be a great book for a Bible study group.

WHAT WE ARE UP AGAINST, January 18, 2005
This review is from: The Changing of the Guard: Biblical Principles for Political Action (Biblical Blueprint Series) (Paperback)
Take a look at this excerpt from this book: "Christians have an obligation, a mandate, a commission, a holy responsibility to reclaim the land for Jesus Christ - to have dominion in civil structures, just as in every other aspect of life and godliness.... World conquest. That's what Christ has commissioned us to accomplish." This is what the ultra-psychotic, fundamentalist evangelicals are out for. They want to turn the U.S. into something the likes of which it has never seen: a high-tech Dark Ages. You owe it to yourself, to your fellow freedom / peace / civility loving citizens to do everything to STOP these power hungry, immoral hypocrites from going any further in their quest for theocracy. It isn't far-fetched at all. You do NOT want to see America ruled by religious law (do you?) It must be beaten back into the churches and callow minds from which it springs.
