As the parent of a 4-year-old and a six-year old, I've heard more than my share of kids' compilation discs that just don't hold up under scrutiny. They're thrown together, foisted onto parents as a supposedly good idea, and they lack a compelling musical side to them. "My Changing Planet" is a wonderful exception to this rule. Remember "Free to Be You & Me" from when we were kids? This is just that kind of concept album--it's got a great thread holding the songs together thematically, and just as importantly, the music is excellent! You can have the world's most compelling theme, but it's no fun to listen to your disc if the songwriting and singing aren't good. Well, this disc has the best of both of those worlds. My kids love the songs, and so do I. The Joan Osborne track is really catchy, and so is the title track by the honey-voiced Toby Lightman. This disc is a treat.

I generally don't like kids music but this is catchy and I like listening to it. It has reinforced many environmental concepts I talk about with my kids. I have bought 9 of them for friends at this point and they all like it as well.

This CD is so good that I even listen to it after my daughter gets out of the car! It is definitely our favorite kids music. In fact, she is singing "No te creo" to herself while coloring as I write this! Great message and great music. What more could you ask for?

To the team that created this compilation, THANK YOU! My kids and I are in love with the music! Each of us has a different favorite song, which is a relief from often being asked to play the same songs over and over again for your kids. I must say, the greatest gift to us has been this CD's ability to trigger questions and thoughts from my children that they haven't explored before. They are becoming critical thinkers and your music engages us as a family.

I decided to buy this CD because after hearing all the songs and their lyrics, I finally found a happy way to teach my son the important role we play as humans in the conservation of our planet. Great job. My son just cannot get enough of it and to tell you the truth neither can I.

Bought for 7 year old and he loves it! The music is great and not annoying at all. Lots of information contained in the songs and how important it is to conserve.

we love this cd... great music with a great message! the kids want to hear it again and again! we love it so much we gave it to all the nieces and nephews for holiday gifts! this cd will not end up in the "mommy can't handle listening to this one more time!" pile... infact, mommy listens to it when she is alone in the car :) enjoy!

The best kids album since "Free to Be You and Me"! I have given several as gifts - everyone loves it.

This is the best kids CD we have in our collection. My daughter and I both sing at the top of our lungs and dance around the house to the various styles of upbeat songs. It is clever and educational and fun. Just the other day my daughter told me that cheese is made from milk - a quote from one song. Another piece got us discussing that paper comes from trees so we should conserve. My daughter is three and I see her putting this into practice. It gives us a starting point to learn while we are having fun. Buy this. You will love it.
