4.0 out of 5 stars Versatile mount
The CM-3078 mount enables maximum flexibility in choosing the surface to mount an antenna: ceiling/roof beam, vertical beam/wall, attic floor-beam, ... However, be prepared to have extra screws (#12 1-1/2") handy since the head of the screws that are supplied with the mount are not very strong and can be stripped easily.

1.0 out of 5 stars Amazon's cheating advertising
This is a redundancy purchase. Amazon was cheating on the "Frequently Bough Together" advertising. The Antenna came with a mount kit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good Product, but cheaper at your local hardware store, August 11, 2009

Excellent product. I ordered it and received it a day earlier than expected. I forgot to purchase a grounding panel, therefore; went to the local massive chain hardware store. I saw a mount identical to this one for around $4.00 which is a lot cheaper than this was after shipping. A little disturbed, but not too much. I'd urge the community to check out the local hardware store prior to buying it from here unless you have free shipping on it!

At this price... I'm happy. I've noticed that none of the consumer electronics retailers carry much antenna mounting hardware anymore.

I wish that more corrosion protection where included... I would have gladly paid for the extra life expectancy.

5.0 out of 5 stars It was tight, but superior adjustability aced it!, December 28, 2010

Inside garage install, gable roof:

Used this mount, attached to a 2x4 between the eaves, the antenna is held upside-down. I didn't think that there would be enough radial adjustment but there was. Did the trick, simple.

Its a pole mount. Not much more to say. I have had mine for about two years now and it has never lost the pole. The pole is located in my attic so no wind disturbs it but it does get quite heated. It holds my 20 pound antenna and 10 pound pole quite well and it seams that it would hold more.

The only complaint I would have is that it was hard to screw the base into a rafter but you only have to do that once.

4.0 out of 5 stars Simple, cheap, works well, September 30, 2011
This review is from: Channel Master Univ Roof Mount 3078 Antennas & Hardware Outdoor (Electronics)
This is a simple, inexpensive clamp for mounting an antenna mast to a sturdy wooden beam. It's great for mounting a TV antenna in your attic: just clamp the antenna to the mast and use this to mount the mast wherever you need it. It allows for various angles between itself and the mast, so you can keep the mast vertical even if the clamp must be screwed to a beam at an odd angle.

It's best to clamp this near the top of the mast, but it's strong enough to clamp the mast at the bottom if that's the best you can do. For an extra-sturdy mount, buy two and clamp the mast at both ends.

Product works as expected... I just wish either the antenna or the bracket came with a pole and you didn't have to buy all of them individually. Installed in my attic.
