5.0 out of 5 stars Simple designs are usually the best
This coax grounding block is simple and should last years if the cables that are connected to it are properly protected from moisture intrusion. The block itself is one solid piece so there are no joints or holes for contamination to enter if you use good boots and dielectric grease Permatex 22058 Dielectric Tune-up Grease - 3 oz. which can also be found at local auto...

3.0 out of 5 stars Functional but cheap
For the price that I paid I was expecting a higher quality product. This is the cheap diecast version that sells anywhere else for $0.75. I'm not going through the headache of returning these for $5 worth of parts. Like I said, functional but cheap.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Enough, May 21, 2010

I can't really review this product entirely, because I haven't been hit by lightning.

However,

This does provide a solid ground for my antenna. And I don't have any static build up so it appears to be working good. I have it run into a 6 foot ground rod, through a nice big copper cable rated at 60,000 volts.

Only trouble I had is that I had to drill the hole slightly larger so the copper cable would fit. Otherwise it would of been 5 stars.

This is so small I could not believe my eyes when it came. It's not for holding
up an antenna at all, it's a joke.

5.0 out of 5 stars not easily satisfied - this antenna has been a happy find, January 23, 2009

it pulled in more channels than expected. that alone spurred me on to replacing the light weight pole i mounted it on. the flimsy pole wobbled in the wind which caused 'break up" of the signal. the replacement pole is solidly sturdy. with only a faint signal loss in only the heaviest winds.
at end. i`am so happy not to have a cable bill.
