This thing sucks azz! I can barely see and the receiver is very touchy!!!!!, March 1, 2009
This review is from: 2.4 GHz Channel-scan Alloyed shell water-proof Wireless Indoor/Outdoor security system with 4 Pack CCTV Surveillance security Camera w/NightVision (Electronics)
The cameras you get suck. They have very weak signals. Most people are not going to view in a 330 ft open range area. That in itself is very misleading. You get maybe a 20' range of reception, if your receiver is peaked just right. One camera that was too far away could not even be seen hardly at all and the sound popped and cracked and lines were there on the screen. The only good thing is the sound, when it is not popping and cracking, and creating wavy scan lines. If you want to save money and have to separate recording devices, What your best bet would is to buy two camera systems. This way you get two receivers, and may have a better quality experience with them. My Best suggestion however is if you have the money, buy a system of 4 cameras that cost around 300-500 bucks. That is where you will get your more decent quality and affordability, unlike myself who listened to my f-ing gf and went the cheap way. YOU DO GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR AND IN THIS CASE IT SUCKS MY AZZ. Oh and the power cords need extension cords as well, which in itself will cause electrical interference.
