Use this 3-1/2-quart pan on the stovetop for sautéing foods or braising meats, poultry, fish, and vegetables. Or use it in the oven for casseroles, stews, and baked and braised dishes. Both pan (2-1/2 inches high without lid, 11-1/2 inches in diameter) and lid are dishwasher-safe.
Chantal's German-manufactured enamel cookware combines utility and beauty in a moderately priced package. Sandwiching a steel core that heats quickly and evenly, the enameled exteriors and interiors are chip- and stick-resistant, nonporous, and won't react with acidic foods. Stainless-steel rims guard against chipping where utensils strike. Colors don't fade but remain beautifully bright. Pots and pans can be used safely on any type of stovetop and in the oven. The tempered-glass lids are safe to 375 degrees F and domed to return condensed moisture to foods.
