I love this mug.

Pros:

-The 20 oz. size makes it perfect for a college student sitting down to write a paper or read a book - or for that matter, anyone who will be seated for the next hour and needs some comfort while doing it.

-The vibrant red is warming, comforting, and beautiful.

-This mug is not to heavy to comfortably hold, full of liquid, with one hand.

-It insulates well so that fingers aren't overheated while holding it.

Cons:

-This is not related to the mug itself, but the shipping costs are monstrous. Buy at least two if you buy one - I wish I had. It comes in a rather oversized box.

As noted, it is big and heavy. My two-cup Senseo coffeeemaker only fills it half way - room for a little cream and plenty of room for sloshing.

I DO have arthritis and I still love this mug - the exterior gets to be a nice toasty warm (not hot)which feels great on my stiff hands, as I wrap them around to take a sip.

For a pretty standard coffee mug, this one gets a lot of comments. I have a set of 4 on my desk and guests have yet to turn down a cup of coffee in one!

If you want a handsome, substantial mug, this is it.

I am very impressed with the feel and size of this mug. It has a smooth feel, and keeps the coffee/tea hot/warm. I ordered one, but will probably be ordering more! Nice! :o)

I love the size durability and look of these Mugs. I bought them originally because I wanted a larger coffee cup than what came with our Fiestaware sets, and now these get used daily. They match so well with the Fiesta that you would never know, but beyond that they have a great look and feel that is not common, and that everyone that has used them here loves.

The set of four is a great price, and honestly I shopped around, and bought one for myself, and ever since we've been trying to find more of them, and now that they're back at Amazon we bought the set of four, and will probably buy another set for back up.

Great Coffee Mugs

The rich and beautiful red of this mug was what first caught my eye as I lazily surfed through Amazon's tempting wares. That would co-ordinate nicely with my apple-themed kitchen, I thought. Then I saw the buttery yellow, the blue of my husband's eyes, the cinnabar of a desert ridge, the green of a grassy valley, the purple of some pleasant purple thing which I cannot think of. I ordered the entire range of colors immediately. Upon opening the box, I found a mug of great beauty, strength, and comfort to my hand. The rings are sensual ridges that perfectly balance the smooth upper half of the mug. Visually, the mug is stunning, when the intense matte color is right before your eyes in the natural play of light and shadow. These mugs have made my kitchen more beautiful, as they sit upon their shelf -- when they get the chance to rest, and not serve my friends and I in their splendid rainbow'd livery. These mugs are solid, earthy, dignified, comforting, and satisfying. They accomodate my large strong hands well. My father also finds them quite comfortable. If you suffer from arthritis, this mug is not for you. It is quite heavy, and might be painful and awkward to handle. There is no good in spoiling a delicious brew of tea or coffee, or distracting from a whipped-cream-topped mug of fragrant hot cocoa, with pain for tender swollen hands from a too-heavy mug. Another word of warning -- the bigger they are, the harder they fall. I am sad to report that I dropped my green mug upon my battered linoleum floor, and it did not do well at all, heavy as it is. In fact, it shattered entirely beyond repair. I have not replaced it, as it was something of a modern shade of green for my taste. Greens do fall prey to the latest trend, don't they? This green does not accent my eyes at all. But it did look nice amongst the others, and my red-haired friend liked it very much. She appreciates the latest greens. But now she must settle for cinnabar.

These mugs are ridiculously big. If you filled one of these up to the brim with coffee you'd probably die of caffeine overdose. Good mugs though. Not crazy about the green color. Solid finish.

I ordered these for my husband for his birthday. He likes large coffee cups , and these fit the bill! They are a full 20 ounces, well-balanced, with a nice big handle to fit big hands. Like all Chantal products I've seen, they have a beautiful finish and are dishwasher safe. Amazon shipped them quickly and free! I'm extremely pleased with this product and the expediency of this order.

This is a great Amazon deal! I hope they bring them back in stock sometime soon!

They are perfect for the coffee fiend. We have a red set of 4 and use them every morning. Easy to clean, have a nice feel & they look cute!

I have these mugs in green and red and absolutely love them! My husband was delighted when I purchased them. He doesn't like to keep running back and forth for a refill. If you want a big mug that has a nice look to it....this is the one!

This is an excellent size mug and has a very smooth finish to it. Very comfortable to hold. I ordered four with my Chantal teapot and am very glad I did!
