This review is from: Chants From THE THIN RED LINE (Audio CD)
This is a beautiful collection of religious spirituals from Melanesia. The melodies and harmonies are beautiful and the voices themselves are pure can only be described as love. I like the CD but listening to it really makes me wish I could sing with them. The language is charming as well, and one of the minus points of the disc is that the lyrics are not included. I really cannot imagine anyone who likes music disliking this album.
FYI I bought the (currently) 6.99 version listed on this page. I considered getting the 24.95 one here: [...] for the reason that it is listed as having one extra song, for a total of 26 songs. I went with the 6.99 one in the end, but it came with the extra song on it. This page has it listed as 25 songs, but there were 26 on mine, and the song order is different. # 4 is the "missing" song "Early Morning at Tabalia". |
