Chaos or Creativity?,
By Talitha (Houston, TX United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Chaos or Creativity? (Audio Cassette)
This single cassette tape lives up to Woodman's usual standards. This is an interesting taping of a lecture concerning Jungian perspectives on the creative process, in our everyday life. This is not the best interview or lecture that I have heard from her, but it is a nice compliment to some of her other books, and recordings. I highly recommend looking into some of her other works first. Woodman is second only to Von-Franz in her approach to Jungian analysis. She focuses on bringing the feminine to consciousness in order to live as whole human beings who are not bound to their complexes. Her books are extraordinarily insightful and are just as much for men as they are for women. Other books and tapes by Woodman that I highly recommend are: Dancing in the Flames: The Dark Goddess in the Transformation of Consciousness -- Pregnant Virgin: A Process of Psychological Transformation (Studies in Jungian Psychology by Jungian Analysts) -- Leaving My Father's House : A Journey to Conscious Femininity -- The Art of Dreaming: A Creativity Toolbox for Dreamwork
