Dekker graphic novels
I bought the 4 book series for my 14 year old son, who really likes them. They will be good stepping stones to the non-graphic novel series of Black, White and Red.

OK watered for kids
This comic along with the others is fine. Pros: beautiful artwork; nice story Cons: The story does NOT follow the book; For a GRAPHIC novel, it's anything but graphic. VERY watered and sanitized, especially considering the plot.

Continuing with the better artist of the graphic novel series, Chaos ties up the first four books of the Dekker Young Adult novels perfectly. I was slightly confused with the books, but now that I can see the images for how they should be, I "see the light"!
